Choirproject Rachmaninov - Tormis

Veljo Tormis: "Ingerimaa Ohtud"

The famous and beloved work of the Russian composer Rachmaninov and the less known, but evenly rewarding composition by the contemporary Estonian composer Tormis form a beautiful pair that we would like to rehearse and perform in this project.

We strive for a choir of minimal 24 (4x6) experienced singers. Rehearsals will be held in two sessions each day (see program) directed by the conductor Johan Riphagen. At least two concerts will be given in the Vaucluse

This is a project for experienced singers!
In a weeks time a full concert will be rehearsed, which means that singers will have to learn the score themselves beforehand. To that aim we will send you a rehearsal-CD where the parts and the pronociation is recorded.
