The small village of Buoux is situated among the rolling hills in
the heart of the Parc
Naturel Régional du Luberon. Due to its geographic situation,
the village has played a naturally defensive role since prehistoric
times.
Today, Buoux is a peaceful rural town, an ideal place to go into
art and music!
While walking around the village you will see that most of the houses date from
the middle and the end of the 17th century. These solid farmhouses, which belonged
to wealthy Protestants, have been restored and maintained so well that they add
unique style and character to the village.
You can stay in the Château de Buoux, the gîte La Sparagoule in the village,
or the hotel Auberge de l'Aiguebrun, the gîte Les
Seguens at the riverside, or
one of the many B&B's in the neighbourhood.
You will find pictures of the environment
and a route description on the
linked pages.
You can also have a visual impression of the courses in the photo
album.
